As all DSMers know there are only 3000 Galant VR4's in the USA. Mitsubishi brought them over from Japan, 2000 in 1991 and another 1000 in 1992. Mine is a 1991 and happens to be #1062 of 2000. They sold for about $21,000 new, compared to $11,450 for a standard Galant. The have the same motor and transmission as the Eclipse GSX and Talon TSi AWD, except for the first gear, the Galant's is taller by about 5 MPH. The Galant's also have AWS that activates at speeds higher than 31 MPH. They also come with the big brakes the late 92 and up TELs (Talon, Eclipse and Laser) have. Over all a quick and fun car.
